I've had two Maine Coon cats in my life. My best buddy Buckley just passed away last September at the age of 18. Elias, who was my first Maine Coon lived to be 17 but passed from cancer. This breed of cat is what I call a Dat (a dog-cat) They're incredible companions to be blessed with in your life. Buckley was a talker, so I was never lonely. I miss both of my buddies very much.
